Job Summary:
Masuda's Cafe is a Halal brunch café in Amherst, MA, serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch with a South Asian fusion. We are looking for a friendly and energetic Barista/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to café recipes and standards.
• Handle cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining a balanced register.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions about the menu and making recommendations.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized café, including the counter, seating area, and equipment.
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a sanitary food and beverage preparation environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure an efficient workflow.

• Previous experience as a barista or cashier is a plus but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
