What Makes a Good Photograph

Teacher: Photographer, Bob Solosko. Anyone can take pictures. Whether it’s with a smartphone or a camera, just set it to AUTO, snap away, and 95% of the time, the images will be in focus and perfectly exposed. But the camera equally records everything in its field of view – it doesn’t know what you’re seeing or why you’re taking the photo, so the results may be photographs that more often than not are mediocre at best. In this workshop, we cover the basics of perception, composition, structure and camera settings to help you consistently get good, and even great photographs. At the end of the workshop, as time allows, we’ll review photographs that participants bring in. Max class size is 15. Payment required for registration. Non-attendance does not guarantee refund.
