The Carle is thrilled to welcome former Trinkett Clark intern and author/illustrator Ashley Benham Yazdani for her debut picture book, A Green Place to Be: The Creation of Central Park. Journey back to 1858 and learn about the visionaries who transformed a barren swampland into New York City's Central Park, a green gift for everyone. Book signing to follow program.
