Join Multi-Arts on a time traveling theatrical adventure! Enjoy discovering the roots of what makes Amherst such a unique place: our avant-garde spirit, celebration of differences, and ability to come together as a community to stand up for human rights. In this play, meet Angeline Palmer, a brave African-American girl who was saved from slavery with the help of the town. Journey to the past to discover the exciting history that made Amherst what it is today. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Amherst Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
