Description
Jazz saxophonist Miguel Zenón joins the classical Spektral Quartet for a concert-length suite to honor and explore the culture of Zenón’s native Puerto Rico. The work does not fit into a single genre, but rather takes advantage of the strengths of jazz, classical, and folk music to create this eight-part tour of a unique cultural landscape.
