Front Window Gallery Reception: Femme Locale

Please join us at this free reception for Femme Locale: SEEN | SCENE | CENE at The Mill District Local Art Gallery on Friday, May 9, 2025 from 5-7pm. Meet the artists while enjoying complementary light refreshments and warm community. SEEN | SCENE | CENE is a group juried exhibition of artwork by local trans women, cis women, intersex, genderqueer, genderfluid, and non-binary individuals, on view in our Front Window Gallery. Curated by Christine Texiera and Alexia Cota, this exhibition is in the spirit of the Thrive Together Network's encouragement for women to show all in the same month - Taking. Up. Space initiative. Artists were invited to create new work or select work that responds to the exhibition title, SEEN | SCENE I CENE. Exhibit runs Sunday, May 4 through Thursday, June 26, 2025. The Mill District Local Art Gallery is donating space and sales commission to support this cause.
