Adobe Lightroom Develop Module - Beyond the Basics

Teacher: Bob Solosko Adobe Lightroom provides a powerful set of advanced photo editing tools for global adjustments and local retouching. The Basic panel in the Lightroom Develop Module, which was covered in the Introduction to Lightroom workshop, has tools for adjusting the color balance, exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, clarity, and saturation of an image. The Develop Module offers additional panels as well. These include tools for adjusting an image’s tone balance and individual colors, adding color, sharpening images, and correcting lens distortion. In this Beyond the Basics workshop, we will explore these additional image processing tools. We will also consider the special case of processing images of people to enhance eyes and reduce blemishes. And we’ll show how to make a photo of a gray day into a photo of beautiful sunset. Please bring a laptop or tablet computer with Lightroom 5, Lightroom 6, or Lightroom Classic CC installed. “Lightroom CC”, which is a different program than “Lightroom Classic CC,” is a cloud-based version of Lightroom and will not be covered in this workshop.
