2024 Lighting of the Merry Maple

Description

Join the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce and the Amherst Business Improvement District for a magical evening where downtown Amherst becomes a winter wonderland!

Activities:

• The tree lighting will take place on the North Common at 5 PM.
• Open House at Amherst Fire Station from 3 - 6 PM
• Amherst Fire Truck will escort the UMass Minutemen Marching Band at 5:30 PM with Santa Claus!
• Flakey the Snowman will join us with games to play with Amherst Recreation from 3 to 6 PM
• Horse-drawn Carriage Rides with Muddy Brook Farm will take place from 4 to 6 PM

Performances:

• Amherst Regional Middle School Chorus at 4:30 PM
• UMass Minutemen Marching Band at 5:30 PM
